I am a Constitutionalist when it comes to how we should govern. If you haven't read it already, I heartily recommend "The 5,000 Year Leap." I've read nothing else like it . It succinctly and eloquently defends the "miracle" represented by the U.S. Constititution and its authors, who transcended the ways of the world in their time to create a document and establish a nation unparalleled in human history.

Ron: Glad to see you are ready to jump in. I will consider ways to support you and your campaign. A few comments concerning your announcement. You made no reference to upholding the U.S. Constitutuion. This is a vital I think litmus test for anyone running for any office in the USA. We, as a nation are devided into 2 groups. (1) people who look to the constitution to determine what to expect from government. and (2) Those who look to the people for what they want from the government in spite of what the constitution allows. I am on of the latter and assume you are also. The former are the majority in governments throughout our nation. Take education. The fact is the Federal government should have no place in any way shape of form but are in fact dictating to the states how and what to educate our children.
